Jerrod Beats Lady A

Is this any way to treat a Lady?
Jerrod Niemann's Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury roars into the No. 1 berth on Billboard's country albums chart to dislodge Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, which has held that position for the last 24 weeks.
To achieve this miracle, Niemann sold 33,818 albums last week, compared to Lady A's 26,942, according to Nielsen SoundScan. However, don't be surprised to see Lady A regain the penthouse for a spell.
In the meantime, Luke Bryan's "Rain Is a Good Thing" remains the top country song for its second week.
There are no other new albums to report, but Christian Kane's self-titled EP and Randy Travis' Three Wooden Crosses: The Inspirational Hits of Randy Travis return to the chart at No. 69 and No. 71, respectively.

Wedding Planning
Posted 6/27/2010 7:19:00 PM
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are happy to be engaged – but they're not worrying too much about wedding planning.
"We are both so busy that we have people helping us with the plans," Lambert says . "I am just trying to enjoy being engaged. It's kind of a magical time."
For his part, Shelton feels that a weight's been lifted. "The beatings from her are less severe and less frequent now that I've stepped up, so that's been a good thing," he says, joking. "I feel like I can relax. Every time she has an idea for the wedding that she tells me about, I tell her it's the same thing I was thinking. It's all good."
