Honda says it's recalling nearly 53,000 Acura TL sedans in the U.S. to fix a problem with power steering hoses.
The hoses can deteriorate over time and leak fluid. That can cause the cars to lose power steering or even cause a fire.
The sedans are from the 2007 and 2008 model years. Honda says there have been no reported crashes, injuries or fires related to the problem.
Honda Motor Co. recalled 273,000 TLs in in 2008 for a similar problem. They were from the 2004 through 2008 model years.
Owners will get letters in mid-June telling them to take their cars to an Acura dealer.

Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse Victim Beats the Odds

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) - A central Indiana woman who was one of the most seriously injured victims of last summer's Indiana State Fair stage collapse will return home this month after a rigorous rehabilitation in Indiana and Michigan. Andrea Vellinga of Pendleton suffered severe head injuries and other trauma when she was struck by stage rigging toppled by high winds just before an Aug. 13 Sugarland concert. Vellinga has undergone numerous surgeries and rehabilitation in Indianapolis and Michigan and has had to relearn how to walk. WISH-TV 8's reporter, Adrienne Broaddus reports that a 5K Run and Walk will be held in her honor on May 19 and will mark her 31st birthday, which doctors didn't think she'd live to see. The race starts at 9 a.m. and begins near First Merchants Bank on State Street in Pendleton, IN. Participants will continue Eastward along State Street towards Falls Park. A northeast Indiana man is accused of theft and misrepresenting himself as country music singer Brantley Gilbert.
Thomas Michael Barth, 25, of Howe, has been charged with two counts of felony theft, according to a statement issued by the Warsaw Police Department.
It said he sent emails and text messages to Robert's Signs of Warsaw and musician Kevin Kyle of Winona Lake that appeared as if they were sent by Gilbert himself.
The police department said Barth received $8,000 worth of personalized products and clothing from Robert's Signs during a three-month period and that he also ordered and got more than $4,000 in musical and electronic equipment from Kyle, as well as a computer.
Much of the merchandise has been recovered, and the department said it appears Barth was not working with anyone else.

In case you weren't sure, yes, the tax laws in this country are still so convoluted and full of loopholes that giant corporations can get away with OUTRAGEOUS stuff like THIS.
--This year, General Electric filed a 57,000-PAGE tax return. They filed electronically, but if you printed it all out, it would be 19 FEET HIGH.
--And thanks to all the loopholes they found, and all the deductions they claimed, GE paid NO TAX on $14 BILLION in profits. ZERO tax.
--How is that possible? Well, $9 BILLION of their profits were overseas, which isn't under U.S. tax law. As for the profit they made here, the taxes were wiped out by everything from tax breaks for investments in green energy, to depreciation of property.

In October, Brad was invited to the "South Park" studio for a tour, which led to him voicing a few background characters for the episode they were working on. "I am a big 'South Park' fan," Brad told The Boot. "I identify with people who have no fear in making fun of everything, so I've seen almost every episode. I think they're brilliant." In tonight's episode, the entertainer is introduced in the first scene, which has him singing the national anthem before the Denver Nuggets basketball game. Later, he comes back for a duet with one of the show's iconic main characters, Cartman.

#1.) The Person Who's Way Too Excited About the Halftime Show. It's just choreographed lip-synching. But this is the person who cares more about Madonna's mash-up with LMFAO than the crazy finish in the fourth quarter.
#2.) The Person Who Cared More About the Ads Than the Game. They're the one who didn't talk much during the actual football, but then cracked up at every half-decent commercial . . . even if they'd already seen it on YouTube.
#3.) The Serious Gambler. A lot of people put bets down on the game. But the SERIOUS gambler was the one glued to their cell phone the whole time . . ...
